Bangkok is a sunny place to start the New Year. I’ve been lucky to have a great holiday season with my Fox (see Christmas pic here!), and once this weekend is over, we’re heading back to work with a vengeance. In the meantime, I’m taking a quick look at the year past, and the year ahead.
Review of 2019 – I:
- Wrote and published Nixie and the Healer, book 3 in The Energetics Series
- Published a box set collection of the first three books in The Energetics Series
- Created (with the Fox) and shared a creative and exciting video book trailer for the box set (catch it here to here the Fox’s sexy French accent!)
- Published This Is For You: A Creative Toolkit For Better Self-Care (non-fiction)
In 2020 I will:
- Write and publish Book 4 in The Energetics Series: Cara and the Hacker
- Build a community of paranormal romance lovers who are both readers and writers – if you are on Facebook please come join in here!
- My Self-Care book will also be out in more languages (French, Hebrew, Korean, Vietnamese to name a few!)
I’m also a lot more relaxed about taking up or creating opportunities as the year goes past, so who knows what else…
I already have consulting engagements planned in China and Malaysia, as well as my first time working in Japan, so there will be plenty of travel and inspiration to put in the books. I’ve started some plotting for book 5 in the spaces between writing Cara, so who knows what countries will turn up there!
In addition, there are plenty of books I’m excited for from other authors this year. I managed to read 99 books last year (read my reviews on Goodreads here if you’re looking for your next read). Top on my list for 2020 is Illona Andrews’ Emerald Blaze (not out till August, argh).
