I don’t quite know what happened to January. It rushed by with a big chunk of it taken up by a short stint in hospital for the poor Fox (don’t worry, he’s recovering well), as well as some flaring of my own chronic pain.
I’ve been working on Cara and the Hacker, the next book in the series, although I had a bad few days where I lost a small chunk (migrating technology to a new laptop never goes quite as smoothly as you think!) which I need to re-write.
Despite all this, Cara’s adventures are progressing, possibly because I was writing a scene with a grumpy male energetic in a hospital room being treated by our heroine Cara – I’m considering January helpful background research! The hospital room is in a Healer Rehabilitation Centre in the style of the building in the picture, so I’ve been looking at plenty of these beautiful and somewhat gothic buildings to help me set the scene.
